Berlin’s Final Beats and the Road to Chicago — A Techno Nomad’s Journey
As my time in Berlin comes to an end, I find myself reflecting on the deep, industrial energy that has shaped my latest track. Berlin is a city that wears its scars and history on its sleeve, from the haunting ruins of Teufelsberg to the underground pulse of Berghain. Every corner of this city speaks in layers — past and present, tension and release, darkness and light. It’s this complexity that has found its way into my music, and I couldn’t be more excited about the result.
But as the beats of Berlin begin to fade, a new rhythm calls. Next week, I’ll be heading to Chicago - the birthplace of house music. Chicago’s musical roots run deep, and I’m eager to explore how the city’s history will shape my next track. From the early house sounds pioneered by legends like Frankie Knuckles, to the bustling modern scene, Chicago promises a new wave of inspiration. I can’t wait to dive into the city’s iconic clubs, warehouses, and underground spaces to see what magic emerges.
Before I head off, though, I have some exciting news: my first single, “Athens,” will be released at the end of December on DEEPBEATS Records. It’s the track that started this journey, and I’m thrilled to announce that the release will come as an E.P., featuring some amazing remixes from other artists. Each remix will offer a unique interpretation of the original, breathing new life into the track that was born from the mystical energy of Greece.
So, as I prepare for my Chicago adventure, I’m also looking forward to sharing “Athens” with all of you. The journey is just beginning, and there’s so much more music to come. Stay tuned for updates from the Windy City, where house music meets my techno experiments, and keep an ear out for the “Athens” EP dropping in December.
Let’s keep this journey going, one beat at a time.
